Yorkrakine Hall, WA, The Ballardong Nyoongar People Country

Yorkrakine Hall stands on the traditional lands of the The Ballardong Nyoongar People People.
Once upon a time this community boasted a school, general store, hall and a wheatbin serving the local farmers of the district. The Agricultural Hall which was constructed in 1926 still remains standing strong, and over the past few years has been renovated allowing functions to continue to be held in the venue. Yorkrakine has a total population of 138 people made up primarily of farming families who have created a very close and caring community.
Festival of Small Halls rolls into Yorkrakine on Thursday, 4 May 2023 with Colin Lillie and Iona Fyfe.
Meals will be available at the Hall, catered by a food van. BYO drinks.
