In addition to enjoying the a must try vanilla slice at the local bakery, Willaura and district boasts a number of Historical Sites and Buildings as well as a Heritage Railway Station. A long and interesting history is currently being researched by the local Lion’s club about the historic horse trough in town, one of many donated worldwide by Mr. and Mrs. Bills in the 1920s. Today farming is still the district’s mainstay, and while many of the town’s shops and former businesses have gone, there remains a strong community spirit.
