Waroona Memorial Hall stands on the traditional lands of the Bindjareb Noongar People.
The Waroona Memorial Hall opened in 1934 in front of the showgrounds, and was used to screen movies for some years. The hall also has a room for Returned Service League (RSL) memorabilia, and Prime Minister Robert Menzies visited in 1961.
Festival of Small Halls rolls into Waroona on Saturday, 24 August 2024 with Jed Parsons (NZ) and Alana Wilkinson (AUS).
Opening the show will be local act Cinty-Anne!
As a Waroona based musician who delivers euphonious vocals accompanied by the mellow strums of her guitar, Cinty has been bringing her acoustic easy listening tunes to local community events/fundraisers for many many years now. Fortunate to have been vocally trained as a child at the Australian Talent School in Victoria, at the age of 18 Cinty moved to WA. A few years later she started a family in Waroona with her fiancé resulting in 5 beautiful children.
Cinty’s passion for singing then took the back burner, until last year when she decided to put herself out there and share her love of singing once more. This is only the beginning for Cinty – follow her on Tiktok @cintyanne_sings to watch her evolve and see where her story leads.

Waroona Memorial Hall has accessible entry (external ramp access on northern external side of building) and has accessible bathrooms (ramp access and wide stall).
Festival of Small Halls events take place in venues operating under an approved WA Health Covid Safe Event Checklist, and has stringent Workplace Health and Safety requirements for all travelling artists and crew. Under the terms and conditions of all events, you must not attend if you have any symptoms of Covid-19.
