Wardell Memorial Hall, NSW, Bundjalung Country

Wardell Memorial Hall stands on the traditional lands of the Bundjalung People.
Wardell is a small village in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales on the banks of the Richmond River. While the hall itself was flooded during the natural disaster of 2022, it has retained its charm and remained a focal point for the community. After being a critical hub for the community’s recovery efforts, it has been repaired and continues to provide space for a range of community health and well-being activities.
Festival of Small Halls returns to Wardell on Thursday, 23 October 2025 with Georgia Mooney and Joe H Henry.
Opening the show will be local act Tapestry Road!

TAPESTRY ROAD are based in the Northern Rivers with Bobbie Goddard – Lead Vocals Judd Brennand – guitars and vocals, and Julian Smith – Bass, vocals and Flute.
