Thowgla, 4 April 2023

Thowgla Hall, VIC

Thowgla Hall is a beautiful historic hall at the hub of the Thowgla Valley. It’s used for many social events, and is the home of the Valley’s annual Christmas Party; the kids have the night of their lives and the Hall brings our community together. During the 2019-2020 bushfires the Thowgla Valley sustained a severe hit. Being a valley of resilient and hard working locals, the Hall Committee are renovating the hall to make it a functional community hub – somewhere locals can get a hot shower, cook a meal, and socialise if disaster should every strike again, but also to be a well-used asset in the community for years to come.

Festival of Small Halls rolls into Thowgla on Tuesday, 4 April 2023 with Scott Cook and Folk Bitch Trio.

Opening the show will be local act Renata Coppola!

Renata Coppola is an acoustic pop/folk musician and teacher who has been a part of the Upper Murray community for the past 7 years. With her smooth vocals and fingerstyle guitar, she provides an authentic easy listening experience with both her stripped back covers and original songs.
