Surat Shire Hall, QLD, Mandandanji Country

Surat Shire Hall stands on the traditional lands of the Mandandanji People.
The Surat Shire Hall was built in 1929, and heritage listed in 2007. This majestic building is a fine and intact example of a timber shire hall of its era, catering for both corporate and social functions.
Festival of Small Halls returns to Surat on Thursday, 3 October 2024 with Kellie Loder and Van Dijk & Mcdonald.
Opening the show will be local act Cameron Pratt!
Cameron Pratt moved with his family to Suart almost two years ago when his wife started her rural teaching service. He’s currently in his third year at university, studying to become a primary school teacher. Music has always been a passion of Cameron’s, and he’s been lucky enough to play a few gigs around Brisbane back in the day. Cameron is self-taught on the guitar, and has been playing for about 20 years now. He loves singing too, especially classic pub songs, and is excited to have the chance to perform for his local community.
