Rand, 13 April 2022

Rand School of Arts, NSW

Rand is a small farming community ‘in the middle of everywhere’ in the Urana Shire, the smallest shire by population in all of New South Wales, less than an hours drive from Albury-Wodonga on the NSW and Victorian border.

Located in the Riverina, Rand and its surrounds were once the haunt of bushranger Mad Dog Morgan, described as ‘the most bloodthirsty ruffian that ever took to the bush in Australia’!

These days the locals are much friendlier and make up a small-knit community who have worked hard to bring their lovely hall first built in 1927 back to life.

Festival of Small Halls returns to Rand on Wednesday, 13 April 2022 with Jack Carty and Charm of Finches.

Opening the show will be local act Tilly Pinn and Lilly Cuifici!
