Bloomfield Hall stands on the traditional lands of the Wiradjuri People.

Situated in the leafy grounds of the Orange Health Service precinct, the Bloomfield Hall is an iconic venue with a long history of hosting performances in all areas of the arts in the Orange community. Don’t be surprised if you encounter a group of kangaroos lazing under the trees near the hall!

Festival of Small Halls returns to Orange on Sunday, 27 February 2022 with Karen Lee Andrews and Juzzie Smith.

Opening the show will be local act The Boneyard Tango!

The Boneyard Tango are a three-piece band featuring Vocals, Guitar and Double Bass. The repertoire revolves around a dark country or southern gothic americana sound, drawing influences from bluegrass, rockabilly and blues with a pun folk attitude. Whist the songs they play tell stories of criminal behaviour, drinkin’ whiskey, killin’ folks, going to Hell, deals with the devil, lost love and betrayal, heartache and misery, the musical sound is dynamic, lively, and irrepressible. Your feet will be tapping, and you’ll have a spontaneous desire to move to the rhythm of this rootsy high energy band. Barnyard Tango are:
Zoe Newman – Vocals, Guitar, Percussion 
Tony Mansfield – Guitar, Vocals 
Ben Lander – Double Bass, Vocals

A BBQ will be available at the Hall from 6pm (including sausage sandwiches etc, soft drinks, local beer, wine and cider).

Full Admission – $30
Concession Admission (JAM Orange members) – $25

Bloomfield Hall has accessible entry (leveled access at front door of the hall) and has accessible bathrooms (separate male & female toilets at ground level at the rear of the building).

This show is supported by JAM Orange.

Festival of Small Halls events take place in venues operating under the current NSW Health requirements, and has stringent Workplace Health and Safety requirements for all travelling artists and crew. Under the terms and conditions of all events, you must not attend if you have any symptoms of Covid-19.
