Nundle Memorial Hall, NSW, Gamilaroi/Kamilaroi Country

Nundle Memorial Hall stands on the traditional lands of the Gamilaroi/Kamilaroi People
Nundle Memorial Hall is the centre of the local community, a gathering place for weddings, parties, family reunions, school presentations and the annual Nundle CWA Art Exhibition. It is also the focus of commemorative ceremonies for Anzac Day.
Nundle Memorial Hall is gaining a reputation as a small live music venue for touring artists, recently hosting Ashleigh Dallas, The House of Jazz Collective, and Music in the Regions.
Local Knowledge: Nundle has a strong live music culture. The DAG Sheep Station has singer songwriter retreats several times a year and numerous Golden Guitar winning songs have been written at The DAG. The Peel Inn, The DAG and Nundle Rocks combine to offer 10 days of live music during the Tamworth Country Music Festival. The Peel Inn has regular live music and Nundle Memorial Hall is emerging as a small touring venue. There are a significant number of musicians living locally who nurture the live music culture at Nundle.
Festival of Small Halls rolls into Nundle on Sunday, 26 April 2026 with
Tullara (AUS) and Joe H Henry (CAN).
Welcoming you to the show will be visual artist Dr Debbie Taylor-Worley.
Opening the show will be Jeff Gibson and John Krsulja!

Nundle locals Jeff Gibson and John Krsulja are performing veterans and have recorded six albums between them. Johnny K, as he is affectionately known, runs The DAG Sheep Station, home to bi-annual songwriter retreats. It was at one of these songwriter retreats that he co-wrote the Golden Guitar winning song Old Man’s Shed with respected country artist Luke O’Shea. Jeff ‘Gibbo’ Gibson has been wowing audiences for more than 30 years with his rootsy, rocking country songs. Sit back and let these two mountain men craft their captivating stories.
