Murrah

Murrah

**PLEASE NOTE, THIS SHOW HAS A NEW START TIME OF 2:30PM**

A hive of creativity and community spirit, the Murrah Hall stands in secluded bushland 15 kilometres south of the small coastal town, Bermagui on the NSW Far South Coast. The community-owned hall has presented headline bands and fostered local theatre and music creation, quickly gathering a regional reputation that, “if it was a Murrah show, it’d be a beauty!”
Tales of the Hall being re-stumped post-Warrumpi Band are local lore. The Murrah’s reputation as an alternative venue has continued and is a core custodial value that the current committee nurture. Featuring perfect acoustics and an intimate atmosphere,  the hall has witnessed an astonishing list of dance, variety, theatre, acoustic nights and seasons by local artists over the last decade and a half! Visiting artists always leave happy – they’ve been really heard, seen and deeply appreciated.
Bermagui has undergone its own sea change. Originally part of a region of primary production (fishing, timber, meat, dairy and beans) the town has become more tourist focused with the bulk of the employment being in hospitality and related service industries. Amid a plethora of natural beauty of coast and forest, the regional population could best be described as a community of all-age gifted children.

Show features VISHTEN (Canada) and special guest ROB LONGSTAFF (Australia) with Local Support act KATY CALLAGHAN.

NOTE: The Little Stevies will not be appearing at this show:
