Mallanganee Memorial Hall stands on the traditional lands of the Bundjalung People.

Mallanganee Memorial Hall is known for fabulous entertainment, fabulous food and the most fabulous welcome to all those who pass through the doors. Mallanganee is a tiny village with exceptional community spirit and cooperation.

Festival of Small Halls returns to Mallanganee on Friday, 27 October 2023 with Monique Clare and Shane Pendergast.

Opening the show will be local act Annie & The Bear!


Annie & The Bear are a duo that have been playing music together for 25 years, and performing occasionally at community events since 2006. The duo consists of Maree (flute & vocals) and Daryl (guitar & percussion). Their repertoire encompasses a range of musical genres including, but not limited to, folk/traditional/world (with a focus on Celtic),  golden oldies, classical and pop (60s, 70s, 80s & beyond). Performances include instrumental pieces as well as more familiar tunes with vocals. 

Come early for the BBQ by the local Lions Club available between 5.30pm-6.30pm.
Supper will be served during intermission and include coffee/tea, cakes and slices.
There will also be raffle and lucky door prizes.

Full Admission – $30
Concession Admission (Pensioners, Health Care Card and Students) – $25

Mallanganee Memorial Hall has accessible entry (driveway access and double doors) and has accessible bathrooms.

Festival of Small Halls events take place in venues operating under an approved NSW Health Covid Safe Event Checklist, and has stringent Workplace Health and Safety requirements for all travelling artists and crew. Under the terms and conditions of all events, you must not attend if you have any symptoms of Covid-19.
