Julia Creek, 10 November 2019

Road-trippers, backpackers and locals alike, get on down to the McKinlay Shire Civic Centre on 10 November. Whether you’re passing through, a proud resident or neighbour of Julia Creek, this is all set to be a fun-filled night of music, mates and merrymaking.

Finger food will be available, and drinks will be provided by the P&C association and will be available for purchase.
There will be a free shuttle bus for locals.

Doors open at 6:30pm for a 7pm start – see you there!

Festival of Small Halls hasn’t visited Julia Creek before so, we’re incredibly excited to meet the locals, welcome travellers and unite under the roof of the Civic Centre. Below is a collection of photos from our shows over the years. Each and every community holds a special place in our hearts.

Small in size but big in heart, the Julia Creek Hall or Civic Centre as it’s known colloquially is ideally situated on the main street of Julia Creek. A full refurbishment of the hall in 2016 has meant that the venue now enjoys state of the art technology and ducted air conditioning along with a bar, deck and kitchen area whilst also retaining the charm from a bygone era. This hall has hosted many a soiree since the 1960s and the Festival of Small Halls will be no exception.
