Johns River, 2 June 2022

Johns River Community Hall, NSW, Biripi Country

Johns River Community Hall stands on the traditional lands of the Biripi People.

In Johns River, a small village bound by two national parks, lies the Johns River Community Hall. A typical great local, this weatherboard hall supports its local community, providing a central location for events and activities that bring the people of Johns River together, alongside visitors to the village.

For over 35 years, the Community Hall has played host to the Johns River Country Markets. The Country Markets are held every Saturday, serving locals and visitors of Johns River with a delicious array of coffees and foods and a legendary Devonshire Tea. All funds raised by stallholder sites go back into the management of the Hall, ensuring the venue continues to serve the community for generations to come.

Festival of Small Halls rolls into Johns River on Thursday, 2 June 2022 with Ash Bell and Sara Tindley and Melanie Horsnell.
