Irvinebank School of Arts Hall stands on the traditional lands of the Bar Barrum People.
The School of Arts Hall is over 100 years old and is the main Heritage Building standing in Irvinebank. Its history, together with the Old QLD National Bank, museum, museum residence and old tramway, are the main attractions that bring people to visit Irvinebank.
Irvinebank is a gem in the hills, with lots of unique things to see.
The show is a part of the Irvinebank Festival that will run all weekend, featuring activities for children, market stalls, a raffle and food stalls from 10am on Saturday.
Festival of Small Halls rolls into Irvinebank on Saturday, 6 July 2024 with Quote The Raven and Hailey Calvert.
Opening the show will be local act Wild River Fiddlers!
A small group of the Hockey family, who are a Christian, homeschooling family singing the old hymns in church and having rich musical foundation in their home, they all are learning to play instruments with skill and passion.
Their instruction is Abi Binstead, who studied classical music in Melbourne, toured the world as a busker at 21, and found her passion in Irish music on the banks of Dublin. Born and bred on old English hymns of the faith in church, loves to play any chance she can.
The Irvinebank Festival will be happening in the hall and surrounds from 10.00am, with market stalls, activities, competitions and raffles all day. Make a day of it and visit the historic Irvinebank town for their Festival, then stay into the night with bar service and local entertainment after the Festival of Small Halls show.

Irvinebank School of Arts Hall has accessible entry (portable ramp access at back entrance to hall) and has accessible bathrooms (accessible toilet block located next to hall).
Festival of Small Halls events take place in venues operating under an approved QLD Health Covid Safe Event Checklist, and has stringent Workplace Health and Safety requirements for all travelling artists and crew. Under the terms and conditions of all events, you must not attend if you have any symptoms of Covid-19.
