Goomburra, 28 November 2021

Goomburra Town Hall, Qld, Githabul Country

The Goomburra Town Hall stands on lands traditionally owned by the Githabul people.

Goomburra Town Hall is where memories are made and revisited. The Goomburra Hall stands at the head of the Goomburra Valley welcoming all those who are visiting the Goomburra section of the Main Range National Park and all the fantastic camping spots along the way.

The hall was built by the local community who fundraised over a long period of time by having shed dance, races, picnics just to name a few of the events. There is a proud tradition of community participation and ownership of the hall as the Goomburra Town Hall committee over the past 115 years has strived to maintain and build the iconic venue.

The Festival of Small Halls will enhance the Annual Christmas Party making it another great celebration of 115 years of memories.
