Emu Park, 1 December 2022

Emu Park Cultural Hall, QLD, Darumbal Country

Emu Park Cultural Hall stands on the traditional lands of the Darumbal People.

The Emu Park Cultural Hall is centrally located in the middle of the seaside township of Emu Park. Famously known for the iconic singing ship Emu Park is a quaint but vibrant village that boasts picturesque parks and crystal blue waters. The Emu Park Cultural Hall is home to many community groups and its walls could tell some amazing historical and hilarious stories since it was built in 1976.

Festival of Small Halls returns to Emu Park on Thursday, 1 December 2022 with Inn Echo and Sam Buckingham.

Opening the show will be local act Hello Brothers!

The Hello Brothers have enjoyed playing music around Central Queensland at various venues and events over the last decade. From festivals to fireplaces, big tents to backyards, caves to caravan parks, weddings, parties and community functions, they’ve been around!   While not actually related biologically, they may as well be. Steve and Will have known each other since they were kids and have played music and sport together for a fair chunk of their lives.   The Hello Brothers have been doing a lot of entertaining at weddings over the last couple of years, but are excited to get back to playing some of their original acoustic-folk style songs at the Festival of Small Halls in December.

Cheese platters, bags of chips and nuts will be available to purchase at the Hall. There will be a bar serving beer, wine, cider, gin and tonics, soft drink and (best of all) water!
