From the band:
G’day, I’m Kalel 👋 I first started playing guitar and singing when I was 8 years old, I didn’t enjoy guitar or singing when I first started but I continued learning, and I have learned to love it. Whenever I’m down, I just pick up my guitar and get lost in song. I haven’t done too many live performances and am still getting the hang of it, but I’m here for the ride and wanna see where the art of music takes me… Hi I’m Caira, I first started piano and singing lessons when I was 6 years old. I would perform for my family and friends and then one day, my friend asked if I would like to perform for church. I started performing for more events and was led to the Toowoomba Busking Festival and then the Open Mic – and that’s how I got invited to perform at the Festival of Small Halls. I love music and the feeling it gives me and can’t wait to share it with everyone again… Hi my name is Konel! I started to play drums at 7 years old on the PlayStation 2, just at home, and would play for my family and friends. My first teacher helped me to learn drums, and now I can play songs without sheet music. I also got taught how to play in a band. Last year was the first time I performed at the Toowoomba Busking Festival with my siblings. It was a real big deal for me as I am shy around crowds, and I’m working on it.
