Dalgety

Dalgety

“On the banks of the snowy river’. The historic village of Dalgety the only town left on the Snowy River in NSW. Dalgety was once a major stock crossing when bullock trains were in important mode of transport. Before the bridge was built in 1888 a punt was used to carry stock and travellers across the Snowy River. In 1902 Dalgety was gazetted as the site for the National Capital. Although there was much debate, Canberra won out in the end and Dalgety remains a proud town, renowned for hosting friendly and successful events including the Dalgety Show on the first Sunday in March. Population: 75

Show features VISHTEN (Canada) and special guest ROB LONGSTAFF (Australia) and local support act OSCAR LITCHFIELD

NOTE: The Little Stevies will not be appearing at this show
