Daintree Community Hall, QLD, Kuku Yalanji Country

Daintree Community Hall stands on the traditional lands of the Kuku Yalanji People.

The Daintree Hall was built by Arthur Zillfleisch & Co. in December 1956 and is located on Osborne Street, Daintree Village. The historic hall has been a venue for wedding receptions, concerts and other public and private functions over the years. Its practicality is its charm.

Festival of Small Halls rolls into Daintree on Wednesday, 3 July 2024 with Quote The Raven and Hailey Calvert.

Opening the show will be local act Gary Pepper!

North Queensland’s own Gary Pepper isn’t your typical acoustic act. He crafts poetic narratives into original songs, using looping guitar work. Gary’s music finds beauty in the everyday, his lyrics painting vivid pictures that resonate deeply.

Live shows are captivating journeys, with Gary looping in real-time to create a full band experience. He’s more than a musician, he’s a story teller, leaving audiences wanting more.

There will be food and alcohol-free drinks available on the night.
