Currabubula, 5 January 2024

Currabubula War Memorial Hall, NSW, Kamilaroi Country

Currabubula War Memorial Hall stands on the traditional lands of the Kamilaroi People.

Currabubula War Memorial Hall is 112 years young in 2024 and is the centre of the beautiful rural village, 30kms south of Tamworth. The hall has been host to many a good old fashioned bush dance, country balls and amazing art shows over the years and residents are currently working together to ensure it remains the beating heart of the community.

The hall is where you find friendly faces, tonnes of community spirit and always wonderful entertainment for the whole family.

Festival of Small Halls returns to Currabubula on Friday, 5 January 2024 with Ryan Young and Alana Wilkinson.

Opening the show will be local act Ethan Latsinos!

Funk music for the soul is what Ethan Latsinos brings to the stage. A pounding guitar and powerful voice speak out against the demons we all share the struggle against, and a background in the blues is the ammo for his weapon of choice for restoring the spirit of truth – Music. Ethan draws on the inspiration of gospel greats such as Ray Charles, Sam Cooke, and Eric Bibb to sing joy into the hearts of his audiences, and drive a toe-tapping rhythm into their legs. Speaking unspeakable things, and delivering gut-wrenching emotion, this will be an explosive start to the night!

There will be tea, coffee and cakes at intermission for a gold coin donation.
