Currabubula War Memorial Hall, NSW, Kamilaroi Country

Currabubula War Memorial Hall stands on the traditional lands of the Kamilaroi People.

The Currabubula War Memorial Hall is the gem of the village. Recently it has had a $150,000 revamp and now has heating and cooling to keep everyone comfortable. It is a fantastic spot to watch live music, and the community of Currabubula hope to see you all soon in their beautiful town.

Festival of Small Halls returns to Currabubula on Thursday, 26 January 2023 with Emily Lubitz and The Paul McKenna Band.

Opening the show will be local act Carly Robinson!

Carly Robinson plays alternative country. Music was a huge part of her childhood. The stereo was always on and echoing out through the house, Mum playing Patsy Cline, Loretta Lyn and The Judds while Dad played George Thoroughgood, Alanah Myles, and 60’s rock was always a family favourite. She’s been singing since she was pregnant with her youngest – so 14 years. She was so shy that she used to make everyone turn their backs. She has been playing guitar since she was 15.
