Captain Creek Community Sport and Recreation Club, QLD, Gurang, Gooreng Gooreng, Bailai and Bunda Country

Captain Creek Community Sport and Recreation Club stands on the traditional lands of the Gurang, Gooreng Gooreng, Bailai and Bunda People. 

Captain Creek is a small rural Community with the Club as its hub our ‘hall’ is under our verandah, with a large marquee and dedicated stage area. This will be our fourth year of hosting Small Halls. 2020 was a small pilot 2021 was a COVID and weather impacted event, 2022 was also weather affected and both were successful despite the rain. 

Festival of Small Halls returns to Captain Creek on Tuesday, 5 December 2023 with Jackie Marshall and Assynt.

There will be a full kitchen menu including vegan options. The bar will be serving beer, wine, spirits, premixed, beer on tap and soft drinks.

Full Admission – $20
Child Admission (Aged 5-12 – Must Be Accompanied By An Adult) – $10
Young Child (Under 5 – Must Be Accompanied By An Adult) – Free

Captain Creek Community Sport and Recreation Club has accessible entry (flat concrete surface) and has accessible bathrooms (accessible toilet). 

Festival of Small Halls events take place in venues operating under an approved QLD Health Covid Safe Event Checklist, and has stringent Workplace Health and Safety requirements for all travelling artists and crew. Under the terms and conditions of all events, you must not attend if you have any symptoms of Covid-19. Please do your bit to protect others and keep your community safe.
