Burnett Heads Community Hall, QLD, Gooreng Gooreng & Taribelang Bunda People

Burnett Heads Community Hall stands on the traditional lands of the Gooreng Gooreng & Taribelang Bunda People for Burnett Heads, recognising the Bailai & Gurang of the greater Bundaberg region.

Moved, condemned and rebuilt, the Burnett Heads Community Hall has a long history in Burnett Heads. Housing numerous community groups and a community library, it is a place where locals can be found chilling out doing crafts and playing card games, or breaking out a sweat, line dancing and doing taekwondo. and if the action in the Hall is not enough, the local kangaroos don’t mind a kick on the adjacent Jack Norgate oval.
