Burnett Heads Community Hall, QLD, Gooreng Gooreng and Taribelang Bunda Country

Burnett Heads Community Hall stands on the traditional lands of the Gooreng Gooreng and Taribelang Bunda People.

Moved, condemed and rebuilt, the Burnett Heads Community Hall has a long history in Burnett Heads.  Housing numerous community groups and a community library, it is a place where locals can be found chilling out doing crafts and playing card games, or breaking out a sweat, line dancing and doing taekwondo. And if the action in the Hall is not enough, the local kangaroos don’t mind a kick on the adjacent Jack Norgate oval.

While in town visit the Mon Repos Turtle Centre, or head into Bundaberg for a range of attractions, including the Bundaberg Rum Factory and Bundaberg Brewed Drinks.  As a fun fact, you will find we are very much all about Lighthouses and Turtles in Burnett Heads.  You will find 3 Lighthouses (or parts thereof) around the town and if you visit in Summer you can see nesting turtles on our little Oaks Beach.
