Burnett Heads, 6 December 2023

Burnett Heads Community Hall, QLD, Taribelang Bunda Country

Burnett Heads Community Hall stands on the traditional lands of the Taribelang Bunda People.

Moved, condemed and rebuilt, the Burnett Heads Community Hall has a long history in Burnett Heads. Housing numerous community groups and a community library, it is a place where locals can be found chilling out doing crafts and playing card games, or breaking out a sweat, line dancing or doing taekwondo. and if the action in the Hall is not enough, the local kangaroos don’t mind a kick on the adjacent Jack Norgate oval.

Although some locals may argue this fact, it is believed that the floor inside our Community Hall is the floor from the previous Burnett Heads Community Hall, which dates back to the early 1900’s.
