Bulga Community Centre, NSW, Wonnarua Country

Bulga Community Centre stands on the traditional lands of the Wonnarua People.
The Bulga Community Centre has been the heart of the community for over 130 years, built on land generously donated by local man William Glas McAlpin and lovingly maintained through the dedication of generations.
Today it stands as a vibrant, modern venue while retaining the charm of its historic roots. Offering a wide range of weekly activities including playgroup, yoga, gym classes and homework help, it’s a space where people of all ages come together. Regular community meetings and social gathers like bingo, birthday parties, weddings, memorial services and corporate functions are also held
in this cherished space.
With the recent addition of a beautiful verandah extension, the hall now blends tradition with contemporary style, providing an ideal setting for any event. Whether looking for a welcoming venue for your next gathering or a place to connect with neighbours, the Bulga Community Centre is here for you.

Opening the show will be Little Cents!

Little Cents prescribe poor man’s therapy in an elixir domestic folk, blues and contemporary alt country music. Their songs are both wistful and wise, with slick guitar from Jason Winn, and joyful uke from Melissa Saunders: the dynamic singer-song-writing duo. Lifted by gospel keys from Paul Saunders and metronome tight drums from David Beins, hidden in their simple tunes are precious timeless truth. Little Cents began as an acoustic duo. Their debut album Love and Other Fairytales was released on Bandcamp in 2019. Reimagining themselves as a band committed to original song writing, Little Cents has been warmly received by the family of folk at Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival, St Albans Folk Festival, Airlie Beach Music Festival, Newcastle Newkulele Festival, and Tamworth Country Music Festival. Their new release, Cows Come Home, available on all platforms, is the first single from their new album currently in studio production.
Little Cents are keen as beans to continue connecting with real folk in regional areas where lyrics are listened to and their heart for Australian stories shared.
