Argents Hill Hall stands on the traditional lands of the Gumbaynngiir People.
Travel through the winding hills of the beautiful Nambucca Valley, Gumbaynngiir Country and you will find, nestled on a ridge, overlooking farm land and forest as far as the eye can see…the historical Hall of Argents Hill. Built in 1919 by farmers, friends and foes, this building stands as a testament of strength, to the Community has seen fires, floods and hardships. This building also celebrates resilience, commonality and friendship! Come celebrate the good times in Argents Hill, kick up your heels and make some new friends! The population of Argents Hill is 221. Argent’s Hill Hall used to hold a fiercely competitive Tennis competition, on the grass courts behind the halls and also held one of the most exciting country dances in the Valley – many a match was made under this roof and their descendants live on to tell the story! Locals call Bowraville and surrounds (including Argents Hill) ‘Bowradise’, as it is basically paradise!
Festival of Small Halls rolls into Argents Hill on Friday, 4 March 2022 with Karen Lee Andrews and Juzzie Smith.
Opening the show will be local act, The Bush Rats!

The Bush Rats are a collection of musicians who herald from the valley – they sing songs inspired by life on land.
Curry plates will be available to purchase, and bar service available including wine and soft drinks.
