Adelong

Adelong is a picturesque township, build along the Adelong Creek with a history steeped in gold and discovery. The quaint little town offers visitors a verandahed main street reminiscent of the 1850s gold rush era, which reflects its mining heritage. The town features the award winning, heritage listed Adelong Falls Gold Mill Ruins, located in a scenic gorge. The impressive stone ruins provide an insight into the history of the Adelong gold-fields. The town boasts the essentials for a town of its size, including a supermarket, hotels, post office and community bank.
