Dalton, 4 February 2023

Dalton Public Hall, NSW, Ngunnawal Country

Dalton Public Hall stands on the traditional lands of the Ngunnawal People.

In 2023 the Dalton Public Hall will celebrate its centenary. The hall has been given a new lease of life after being closed up and neglected for about 20 years. Over the past five years, the hall has undergone a transformation. The addition of new flooring, new paint-work, the restoration of the stage, and addition of a new amenities block and kitchen has brought the hall back to its former self as a town meeting place.

Dalton has the reputation of being the earthquake centre of New South Wales.

Festival of Small Halls returns to Dalton on Saturday, 4 February 2023 with Emily Lubitz and The Paul McKenna Band .

Opening the show will be local act Megan Baragry!

Young talent, Megan Baragry from Goulburn NSW has been performing in her hometown and surrounds for the last 7 years. She attracts crowds with her heartfelt, sing-along originals, and her unique twist on a range of covers. From singing on stage with country music star Amber Lawrence at the age of 11, to recently opening for Amber’s tour ‘Living for the Highlights’ show in Goulburn, Megan continues to share her love of music, engaging audiences with her vibrant and upbeat sound.
Her debut single ‘How Can I Not’ is a fun and catchy tune and is set to be released very soon. Ready to chase her dream of a music career, Megan is definitely one to watch in the Country Music scene.
