Wednesday 09 March, 6:30pm

The Wauchope Community Arts Hall is just that – community. It is one of the most intimate venues in the Hastings that attracts acts of extraordinary quality and it feels as if they are playing in your lounge room with a bunch of your best friends.

Population: 7500

Show features VISHTEN (Canada) and special guest ROB LONGSTAFF (Australia) with local support act MAT BROOKER.

NOTE: The Little Stevies will not be appearing at this show:

ROB LONGSTAFF: New Zealand born & Australian bred, Rob Longstaff is a singer / songwriter of the acoustic blues & soul genre. With two studio albums already under his belt, Rob recorded his most recent album at Blackbird Studios in Berlin. “Boogaloo’ boasts soulful acoustic gems and exemplifies his powerful voice and impressive fingerpicking style. He’s an entertainer as much a musician, wooing crowds with his humour and energy. When in the studio, he insists on recording his tracks in one take. No tricks, no gimmicks, just his voice and guitar. He’s played gigs throughout Australia and Europe and including festivals such as Woodford Folk Festival & Maleny Music Festival

LOCAL ACT – Mat Brooker:

Soulful gypsy flamenco guitar music comes pouring out of Mat Brooker’s hands. Armed with only a guitar & stompbox, you’ll be surprised how much noise six strings can make. Find out why he was dubbed the Jimi Hendrix of Spanish Guitar. (Visit Mat’s Facebook here)
