“Southport Community Centre
Sunday 24 January, 7:00pm
Southport Community centre provides a community hub for the wider Southport region
which includes Lune River, Hastings, Lady Bay, Ida Bay and Southport.
Spectacularly located on the edge of the southwest wilderness, it takes in views of
Adamson’s Peak and The Southern Ranges. A new deck/stage was designed to incorporate the natural surrounds while the northeast aspect creates a perfect amphitheatre effect in a sheltered position. The regions attracts a unique blend of residents including fishermen, farmers, artists, environmentalists, tourism operators and provides an ideal setting for interesting cottage industries. The Southport Community Centre is looking forward to hosting the inaugural Tasmanian Festival of Small Halls and we believe this will put our town on the music lover’s touring calendar!
Tickets available online. Meals (burgers – Wallaby, Salmon and Vege) and drinks available for purchase at the show. Dinner will be served at interval.
